About Projective Group
Projective Group is a Financial Services Consultancy firm focused on the financial industry. Within the Data Practice, we help clients tackle data‑related challenges by combining Engineering (data management, governance, analytics, architecture) and Consulting (strategy, use‑case definition, transformation) to support cloud, digital transformation, and AI initiatives across the financial sector.
The role
As a Data Management Specialist, you will take on a key role within our Data Practice — ensuring that data across client organisations is accurate, consistent, compliant, and accessible, enabling trustworthy reporting, analytics, and AI use cases. You will work closely with business and IT teams to design, document, improve, and safeguard data structures, data flows, data governance processes, and data quality frameworks. Beyond your functional and technical expertise, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients mature their data governance and adopt best‑in‑class data management practices. We do not believe in heavy hierarchies - you do not formally “report” to the Data Practice Lead, but he is there to support you whenever you need.
Your profile
- Design, maintain, and optimise data models, data flows, and pipelines.
- Define and implement data quality rules, validation checks, monitoring, and remediation processes.
- Maintain data catalogs and business glossaries, including ownership, classifications, and metadata.
- Support and enforce data governance policies (e.g., data ownership, retention, access control, privacy).
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into data structures, interfaces, and documentation.
- Monitor data quality KPIs and create reporting for data owners and management.
- Coordinate and support data migration and data cleansing activities during system changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Document data models, lineage, interfaces, and data requirements in a clear and accessible manner.
