Are you ready to build the future of web games?

Poki is a global online playground where millions of players and thousands of game developers come together to play, create, and connect. We’re on a mission to let the world play. To support this mission, we’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our developer platform. This platform is the backbone of how web games are uploaded, tested, approved, launched, and improved on Poki.

What this job is about:

As Product Manager – Developer Platform, you will be responsible for improving the tools and workflows that enable developers to operate efficiently on Poki, and that allow our internal teams (QA, Operations, Finance, BD) to scale with fewer bottlenecks. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that requires strong product thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to make tradeoffs across internal and external stakeholders.

Your challenge as a Product Manager – Developer Platform:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Poki’s developer platform and operational workflows.
  • Improve developer tools that enable game developers to iterate faster, reduce the time from upload to launch, and increase developer satisfaction.
  • Ensure third-party integrations (e.g. for Finance and Operations) run reliably and support scale.
  • Update and streamline the game lifecycle flow from testing to launch to align with current operating realities and future content strategy.
  • Align internal stakeholders (QA, Operations, Finance, BD, Engineering) around priorities and decisions.
  • Balance developer requests with internal operational needs and business constraints.
  • Use data, metrics, and test results to improve decision quality and product performance.
  • Communicate clearly and directly with external developers to gather insights and manage expectations.

You:

We’re looking for someone who brings strong product judgment and thrives in environments with multiple stakeholders and moving parts. You are comfortable saying no, making trade-offs, and navigating ambiguity without defaulting to consensus. You think in systems, not just features, and you enjoy seeing the impact of your work directly reflected in developer outcomes and internal efficiency.

  • You have experience building platforms, internal tools, or multi-stakeholder products.
  • You are comfortable interpreting data and metrics and making decisions based on incomplete information.
  • You have worked with backlog tools (e.g. Jira, Asana) and analytics dashboards.
  • You speak and write English fluently.
  • You have experience in at least one of the following: game development, developer platforms/tooling, or marketplaces with supply-side users.
  • You are motivated by end-to-end ownership rather than narrow delivery tasks.

Bonus experience:

  • Have basic SQL skills (Snowflake, BigQuery etc.).
  • Have experience with QA or testing workflows.
  • Have built or scaled internal tools used by cross-functional teams.
  • Have experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
  • Have worked in or around game development in any role.

Why work at Poki?

  • A high-impact product role in a fast-growing company, shaping how thousands of developers ship games to millions of players worldwide.
  • The opportunity to own and scale a core platform at the intersection of games, data, operations, and business.
  • A creative, international, and entrepreneurial work environment where autonomy and ownership are real, not slogans.
  • A full-time contract (fixed-term) with the chance to influence the future of developer experience on Poki.
  • A hybrid work environment, flexible hours, and a work-from-home budget.
  • A generous training and development budget – we believe play is how we learn.
  • Access to wellbeing programs, including retreats, check-ins, and more.
  • Office in central Amsterdam (Spui) with daily lunches, team activities, and more.

At Poki, play is how we learn. That's why we’re on a mission to create the ultimate online playground. With tons of games for players of all ages, we’re bringing fun to the next level.
By giving smart and creative people the freedom to do great work, we’re committed to creating the best gaming experience on the web for players, game developers, and advertisers.
