Treasurer

Bol Financial Services (bFS) has been established to secure growth and strengthen the service portfolio. As the Treasurer, you are the guardian of bFS’s liquidity and capital strength across bol’s licensed entities.

The biggest challenge

Your role extends well beyond the day-to-day treasury operations. You will shape financial operating models that enable innovation and collaborate with commercial, legal, and finance teams to build out our infrastructure to support new constructs. You will lead strategic and transformational initiatives across entities, embedding a robust treasury framework that gets the most out of our applications landscape (including SAP, BigQuery, and Tableau) and becomes a seamless part of our financial ecosystem. And you ensure that initiatives to seize new opportunities tomorrow never jeopardize our reliability and quality today.

What you'll do as Treasurer (bol entities)

You ensure that bol and bFS maintain optimal funding and cash positions while complying with stringent regulatory requirements. You translate complex treasury data and market trends into actionable strategies that secure financial stability and facilitate growth. You design and lead our treasury processes, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital / capex management.

You’ll take ownership of bol’s extensive treasury operations, ensuring every activity – from cash management to capex oversight, intercompany funding, and vendor pre-payments – is executed accurately and compliantly. You’ll manage liquidity by maintaining optimal cash balances, leveraging accurate forecasting, and working closely with finance teams across the organization to anticipate risks before they escalate into issues at the leadership level.

You’ll set the standard for excellence by drafting corporate treasury policies and process guides, developing high-quality cash flow forecasting models, and collaborating with finance, tax, and accounting to align business processes with corporate governance. You’ll also mentor and develop less experienced team members, providing operational oversight and fostering a culture of growth and expertise within the cross-functional team. In short, you’ll develop a treasury function that not only safeguards financial stability but empowers the business to grow, invest, and innovate. Your key responsibilities:

• Managing cash positions, intercompany funding, and vendor pre-payments with precision and full compliance
• Developing and maintaining high-quality cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning models
• Drafting corporate treasury policies and process guides aligned with corporate governance
• Leading strategic and transformational treasury initiatives across bol and bFS entities
• Mentoring team members and fostering treasury expertise within the cross-functional team

You have 8+ years of comprehensive finance experience, including at least 2 years in treasury operations in a corporate environment. Your expertise spans ERP systems such as SAP and online banking administration, enabling you to manage the full breadth of treasury processes efficiently. Driven by intellectual curiosity, you proactively seek knowledge and solve problems independently with minimal supervision. You possess proven project management skills, building strong cross-functional relationships, gaining consensus across teams, and driving initiatives to successful completion.

Your background includes developing treasury procedures and best practices, as well as in-depth accounting experience. With a relevant master’s degree and advanced financial knowledge, you develop insights that withstand board-level scrutiny. You excel in data visualization and PowerPoint, transforming complex analyses into compelling narratives. You have superb stakeholder management skills, are confident in presenting to senior executives, thrive under pressure, and are accustomed to delivering high-quality results.
