  2. Information Technology audits covering existing IT environments as well as new projects and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in internal audit assignments globally in accordance with the Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Act as Lead Auditor, including leading audit teams and supporting the Audit Assignment Manager throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Support audit planning by contributing to scope definition, risk assessment, and information gathering.
  • Prepare, conduct, and document interviews with audit clients and key stakeholders.
  • Review assigned processes and systems to identify risks and assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
  • Perform control testing, evaluate control deficiencies, and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Develop clear, concise audit observations and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Operational Auditors and Data Scientists to ensure appropriate data analytics and process insights are used.
  • Contribute to audit reporting, including drafting sections of audit reports and presenting conclusions to management.
  • Finalize audit documentation, track management action plans, and follow up on the implementation of agreed actions.
  • Stay up to date on auditing standards, IT risks, and emerging technologies.
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the internal audit function.
  • Support internal audit management with functional and continuous improvement initiatives outside of audits, as required.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of audit experience in public accounting and/or a large internal audit function, ideally within an international manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and risk-based auditing.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to deliver results within budget and timelines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • Audit-related certification (e.g. CIA) or currently pursuing one.
  • Good understanding of IT operations (e.g. ITIL, DevOps), modern technologies (e.g. SaaS, Azure), and third-party assurance.
  • Strong understanding of SAP-based business processes (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance/Controlling).
  • Experience with data analytics in audits is highly preferred.
