Your mission: to attract high-quality international partners and ensure their long-term satisfaction on our platform. You initiate and lead projects that directly impact our growth objectives. With 13.7 million customers and 47,000 partners, bol is already a retail tech powerhouse in Belgium and the Netherlands – your role is to extend that success further afield.

The biggest challenge

Balancing strategy and execution in equal measure. You develop compelling propositions that convince international top partners to join our platform. But you’re also responsible for bringing those propositions to life through well-coordinated growth programs and initiatives. How do you manage multiple projects simultaneously? How do you engage the right stakeholders? And how do you combine operational excellence with strategic planning? This role demands perfection across the board – you own the plan and every aspect of its performance.

What you'll do as the International Strategy & Proposition Developer

You’ll join the International Network Development team (25-30 colleagues) and report to the Manager of International Strategy & Proposition Development. You’ll work closely with fellow Strategy & Proposition Developers, an Analyst, and a variety of teams across the organization, ranging from Commerce to Product, Tech, and Marketing.

In this role, you’ll develop, promote, and manage projects that advance our international growth ambitions. Together with Product, you’ll create product-led innovations that demonstrably boost international partner success, both from a commercial perspective and through the lens of customer satisfaction. Together with relevant teams, you’ll optimize the partner and customer proposition for international partners, enabling them to thrive on our platform while safeguarding the quality of service for our customers. Execution is key: you’ll coordinate mission-critical international projects, ensuring clear governance, effective progress tracking, and proper documentation. You’ll also drive cross-functional collaborations that are at the heart of everything we do.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve propositions through data analysis and market research
  • Translate insights into concrete proposals and actionable plans
  • Optimize the project portfolio to help international partners excel
  • Coordinate complex international programs from initiation to implementation
  • Track progress, map risks, and adjust course where needed
  • Optimize cross-functional workflows and collaboration structures
  • Serve as the expertise center for international propositions

You have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, 4-7 years of experience, and can speak and write proficient English. Experience in an international business setting or at the intersection of product and business is a strong plus.
