Description:

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will become part of our Airports & Parcel Project Engineering Department in Veghel. The Project Engineering Department is responsible for the execution of projects in which the different components (mechanical and electrical) of our material handling systems are implemented. Working under the supervision of a Project Leader, the Mechanical Project Engineer is part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Create the Bill of Material, and ensure that your Supply Chain colleagues can deliver on time and within customer specifications.
  • Complete the 3D design from sketch to customer approval.
  • Coordinate the design with the customers and internally.
  • Solve any issues that you encounter, either during engineering or installation/commissioning phase of the project.
  • Support the site installation teams with your knowledge (either remote or on site).

Your qualifications and skills:

To be successful in this role, you have at least a Bachelor in a technical area such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering. Furthermore, you have/are:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English/Spanish.
  • A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary, international teams, and like to share your knowledge with your coworkers.
  • Willing to travel around 25% internationally.
