Transform NFR procurement through data excellence and system optimization

How do you make our customers happy?

By transforming NFR procurement from gut-feel decision making to data-driven excellence. As Procurement Digital & Data Lead, you’ll conceptualize and implement the analytics foundation and system improvements that enable 2,900 colleagues to serve 13.7 million customers and 47,000 partners effectively. Quite the ask, because you’re not inheriting a mature data ecosystem; you’re fixing and building one from fragmented systems and isolated datasets. Working within the guidelines set by the Manager Centre of Excellence, you’ll focus primarily on making our source-to-contract processes actually work. How can you turn NFR procurement into a strategic capability powered by insights? When category managers can instantly access supplier performance data, when contracts are managed effectively in working systems, when savings are tracked automatically – that’s when procurement truly delivers value at scale.

The biggest challenge

Creating reliable data insights and functional systems from what’s currently a patchwork of disconnected tools. How do you build robust data governance when master data quality may be suboptimal? How do you fix and optimize existing systems, especially in the critical source-to-contract area? How do you drive the adoption of new tools when colleagues are comfortable with their current workarounds? How do you embed robust controls and governance frameworks that implement internal policies and satisfy external regulatory requirements? And how can you maximize your contribution to a Procurement function that not only controls costs and delivers value but is also agile, consistent, and a driver of strategic influence across the business?

What you'll do as the Procurement Digital & Data Lead

As the data wizard of NFR procurement’s future, you’ll transform how we capture, analyze, and act on data across the source-to-pay process. Reporting to the Manager Centre of Excellence, you’ll work within clear strategic guidelines while having the autonomy to solve complex data and system challenges. Your primary focus is on making our procurement systems – especially source-to-contract – deliver what the NFR team needs. Operating at the intersection of business needs and technological possibilities, you’ll build the systems and insights that develop procurement into a strategic function. In a complex regulatory environment, you’ll ensure this digital transformation substantially strengthens our control framework.

You’ll drive the improvement of our procurement technology stack, managing everything from ERP integration to eSourcing platforms. As the bridge between Procurement and IT, you’ll ensure new systems solve business problems efficiently, without creating new ones. But technology is just the enabler – your real impact comes from establishing data governance that ensures high-quality data goes in and reliable insights come out.

Through dashboards and analytics, you’ll make procurement performance visible and actionable. You’ll transform raw data into stories that inspire clear-sighted decisions – from capitalizing on savings opportunities to mitigating supply risks. Working closely with category managers, operations, and the SRM team, you’ll ensure digital solutions enhance rather than complicate their work. Your key responsibilities:

  • Improve and optimize existing procurement systems (ERP, eSourcing, CLM, P2P) with a clear focus on source-to-contract functionality
  • Establish robust data governance frameworks and master data management standards for NFR procurement
  • Build analytics capabilities that track NFR performance, compliance, and value delivery
  • Translate complex NFR data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
  • Co-design and execute a procurement technology strategy aligned with business transformation goals
  • Drive digital and data adoption through effective change management and capability building
  • Partner with IT and vendors to ensure seamless system integrations
  • Identify emerging technologies that can accelerate procurement maturity
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making

Why you can make a difference

You combine deep procurement process knowledge with technical proficiency and data analytics expertise. Your track record shows you can build data foundations while delivering quick wins that maintain stakeholder momentum. You understand that great systems are eagerly embraced, making the user experience as important as functionality. To you, data is not an end in itself but the guiding light that drives better NFR procurement decisions and amplifies the team’s impact.

3 reasons why this is (not) for you

  • Greenfield shy You prefer optimizing existing platforms to building new digital ecosystems from scratch
  • User blind Your dashboards are so information-dense that nobody can decipher them
  • Tech for tech's sake You'd rather implement cutting-edge solutions than solve 'mundane' but critical business problems

Perky pioneer You're energized by the challenge to create a playbook for data-driven procurement excellence

Tenacious translator You naturally translate between business needs and technical solutions, making complexity accessible

Decision driver You believe data without action is a waste of storage - you build analytics to inform decisions

Where you'll work

You’ll join a procurement function in full transformation mode, where “we’ve always done it this way” is being replaced by “what does the data tell us?” As part of the Procurement Centre of Excellence, you’ll work with colleagues hungry for better tools and data insights. The environment is perfect for problem-solvers – we don’t crave new systems per se, we crave for someone who can make our current ones work while building world-class data capabilities. While welcome, we don’t expect perfection on day one; we need someone who can deliver value iteratively while realizing a world-class data-driven vision on NFR procurement. Ready to prove that procurement plus data equals a competitive advantage? Show us how digital transformations drive real business impact!

We take pride in our B Corp certification and strive for continuous improvement every day. Our annual bonus is tied to sustainability goals.
