Contract Manager - Rotterdam (S)

Purpose

  • The Contract Manager provides Contract Management support and execution for less complex projects or supports Project or Senior CMs for Major projects or for the Group Contract Management department.

Responsibilities

  • You manage Main Contracts.
  • You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
  • You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements, expedite disciplines where necessary, and highlight potential areas of concern.
  • You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team throughout the life of the project.
  • You achieve and maintain total auditability of all commercial and contractual dealings, including clear record-keeping and regular commercial reporting.
  • You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
  • You ensure Guarantee period management.

Education

  • Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying).

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management including EPCI, subcontract management.
  • Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation.
  • Experience of project execution interface.

The Company is market leading in leased floating production systems with multiple units currently in operation and has unrivalled operational experience in this field. The Company’s main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation and the life extension of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels. These are either owned and operated by SBM Offshore and leased to its clients or supplied on a turnkey sale basis.
