Job Description

As a Project Buyer, you represent the procurement function within (customer) projects. You play a key role in supplier selection and ensure that all procurement processes align seamlessly with project objectives. You work closely with project managers, commodity buyers, and Supplier Quality Engineers and report hierarchically to the Supply Chain Manager.

Your responsibilities:

• Selecting and approving suppliers based on customer requirements and relevant commodity strategies.
• Negotiating project packages (QLTC-wide) and monitoring the CPR roadmap.
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies in collaboration with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Ensuring the timely availability of materials by placing and tracking project-related orders.
• Optimizing procurement costs based on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principle.

What do you bring?

We are looking for a driven professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain management. You recognize yourself in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset for continuous process improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Navision) and an affinity for ICT tools.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
