- Groenlo, Netherlands
- 24 - 38 hrs
- €550 - €650
- Hybrid: you can work both remotely and at our vibrant campus in Groenlo, in consultation with your team.
- you are available from February 2027 for at least 32 hours per week, for approximately five to six months.
What are you going to do?
In healthcare, reliability, quality, and data protection are essential. At Nedap, we develop software and hardware solutions used daily by hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals and clients. To continuously safeguard our high standards, we work with an integrated management system certified to ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 27701, ISO 27018, and NEN 7510.
Our internal audit program is an essential part of this system. Colleagues from other market groups audit our management systems to ensure independence. But how do we assess our own ways of working, and how can we improve this process?
During your graduation internship, you will investigate these questions and develop a practical approach to improving our internal audit program.
Your responsibilities
You will help our teams identify risks, follow up on improvements, and understand how effectively internal audits contribute to quality, privacy, and information security.
Research and analyze
you analyze the current internal audit process, assess it against relevant guidelines and standards, including ISO 19011, ISO 27001, and NEN 7510, and gather needs and challenges from internal auditors, product teams, and leadership.
Develop a risk-based approach
you develop an improved methodology for planning, conducting, and reporting audits, with risks guiding the priorities.
Improve follow-up
you design a clear, practical workflow, for example in Jira or Confluence, to track corrective actions and opportunities for improvement and ensure they are followed through.
Make effectiveness measurable
you define indicators and a monitoring approach that give management insight into the effectiveness of internal audits.
Your team
You will join the Compliance team within Nedap’s Risk, Security & Compliance (RiSC) group for healthcare. The team consists of Privacy & Information Security Specialists and a Team Lead. Together with the Application Security team and the Risk, Advisory & Policy team, we support our healthcare development teams and solutions in safeguarding quality, privacy, and information security.
You will find an open, down-to-earth, and supportive atmosphere, with space for discussion, initiative, and personal growth. Experienced colleagues will help you find your way around ISO and NEN frameworks and actively guide you throughout your graduation assignment.
What's in it for you?
As an intern or graduation student at Nedap, you can work both remotely and at our vibrant campus in Groenlo, in consultation with your team. The choice is yours. We also offer a monthly internship or graduation allowance of between €550 and €650. If there is a mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to join Nedap after your assignment. Many students have stayed with us!
