For leading fashion retailers, inventory visibility extends far beyond the stockroom. It affects whether customers find the products they want, whether stores can fulfill online orders, and where stock and margin are lost. Our RFID technology connects physical products to digital inventory data. Combined with our software platform and applications, it helps retailers track stock movements, improve product availability, and reduce losses. You position this complete proposition, connecting hardware, software, and applications to each customer’s specific situation.
As an International Account Executive EMEA – Retail Solutions at Nedap, you bring these conversations together. You explore how a retailer operates, challenge existing assumptions, and identify where better inventory visibility can improve performance. You have the space to develop your account strategy and take responsibility for progress. From the first conversation to a rollout decision, you help customers understand what needs to change, what an investment could deliver, and which steps are needed. You connect the interests of retail, operations, logistics, IT, and finance to an investment they can support together.
- Location: Groenlo, Netherlands.
- Working hours: 38 - 38 hrs.
- € 5.500 - € 7.000.
- Work arrangement: Remote.
- We are looking for two colleagues to join our end customer sales team across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Your regional focus will reflect your language skills, experience, and market opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Develop strategic accounts. Identify opportunities with leading fashion retailers and build relationships across their international organizations.
Explore the underlying challenge. Understand how inventory moves through stores and supply chains, and uncover the operational and financial consequences of existing processes.
Build a shared business case. Translate customer priorities into a proposal that connects our hardware and software to measurable improvements.
Guide investment decisions. Work with customer stakeholders, channel colleagues, and Solutions Engineering to address concerns, validate the business case, and secure commitment.
Own commercial progress. Take responsibility for qualification, account planning, negotiation, and closing, with clear next steps and a careful handover to implementation.
Your team
You join the international end customer sales team within Nedap in Retail. Our sales structure brings hardware and software together in one proposition, with dedicated teams for end customers and channel partners.
You work with colleagues who understand both the technology and the everyday realities of retail operations. Solutions Engineering helps you explore technical questions and integration needs, while channel colleagues contribute their knowledge of partners. You share customer insights, learn from each other’s approaches, and help shape how we bring our combined proposition to the market.

Required skills
You want to understand what a customer is trying to achieve and look beyond the initial request. You discuss store operations with one stakeholder and the investment case with another, keeping the shared goal in focus. You build trust, ask difficult questions when needed, and maintain momentum through longer decision-making processes.
You bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
- Experience in international consultative sales to large fashion retailers with extensive store networks.
- Experience selling solutions that combine hardware and software, such as RFID, Internet of Things (IoT), or connected systems.
- Demonstrated responsibility for complex sales opportunities, including business-case development, stakeholder management, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong communication skills in business English. German, Spanish, or French is an advantage for regional market coverage.
You enjoy traveling internationally to meet customers and participate in relevant industry events.
Beyond your experience, it is important to us that you identify with our culture and values and are eager to contribute to our purpose of creating Technology for Life.
