“Gain hands-on experience in Global Procurement Governance while helping turn compliance requirements into practical business impact.”

As a Global Procurement Compliance Intern, you will support HEINEKEN’s global Procurement Compliance agenda. Working closely with the Procurement Compliance Manager and a diverse global stakeholder group, you will help strengthen governance, support Third-Party Risk Management, Global Procurement Policies and contribute to clear and reliable compliance reporting.

During your internship, you will gain hands-on experience in global procurement governance, procurement compliance and collaboration across Operating Companies. You will receive the trust and freedom to work with an entrepreneurial mindset, with guidance from the team.

The internship

  • Support monthly procurement compliance reporting and improve KPI data accuracy.
  • Support the development of Global Procurement Policies in line with HEINEKEN Global Standards.
  • Help drive a key strategic Procurement initiative with Operating Companies and track progress.
  • Assist with Third-Party Risk Management activities, including tracking, coordination and follow-ups with Operating Companies.
  • Transform supplier master data into a structured, business-friendly format that supports compliance requirements.
  • Support documentation, record-keeping and audit-readiness activities.
  • Identify trends, gaps and insights in compliance data to support continuous improvement.

Your new team and workplace

Within Global Procurement Enablement, we help HEINEKEN Procurement teams do what they do best: build strong supplier relationships, ensure policy compliance and deliver business value. The Governance team plays a key role in responsible sourcing, risk management and the implementation of global standards.

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

What a day in the internship could look like

You may start the day by reviewing compliance reporting or following up with colleagues from different Operating Companies on an ongoing initiative. You could then work with supplier or KPI data, help structure documentation for a policy or risk-management activity, and join a team meeting to discuss progress and priorities. Play a key role in preparing for Steering Committee presentations. Throughout the day, you will balance your own deliverables with collaboration across a diverse global stakeholder network.
