You will:
- Take ownership of high-impact data initiatives within the Credit & Collateral domain.
- Translate business challenges into scalable, future-proof data solutions.

- Support the development of advanced analytics and AI use cases by providing reliable and well-governed credit data.
- Lead initiatives from idea to implementation, including analysis, design, testing, and release activities.
You will have the autonomy to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously while helping define how Credit & Collateral Data Products evolve within ABN AMRO.
Working environment
You will join the Credits Data Domain Store, a team with a clear mission: creating trusted Credit & Collateral Data Products that support lending, risk management, regulatory reporting, and capital optimisation across the bank.
Our environment combines the pace of a large-scale digital transformation with the complexity of a highly regulated banking domain. You will collaborate with professionals from Financing Solutions, Risk, Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and AI.
What makes this role particularly exciting is the combination of:
- Strategic visibility across the bank.
- Direct impact on key lending and risk processes.
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and decision makers.
- A modern data environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Opportunities to deepen both your banking expertise and your technical data skills.
You'll be part of a team that values ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Your profile
You are an analytical professional who enjoys connecting business objectives with data-driven solutions. You understand that data is not the goal itself, but a powerful enabler for better decisions and better customer outcomes.
We're looking for someone who brings:
Professional Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Data Modelling, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within banking, lending, risk management, or another complex financial environment.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently analyse large datasets.
- Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data quality management.
- Experience with testing, implementation, and release activities.
- Familiarity with Databricks, JSON, and modern data platforms is a strong advantage.
Banking & Credit Expertise
- Strong understanding of lending processes and credit risk management.
- Knowledge of Credit & Collateral products and their lifecycle.
- Understanding of how data supports regulatory reporting, risk monitoring, and business decision-making.
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments where business and technology come together.
Personal Skills
- You take ownership and enjoy driving topics from idea to delivery.
- You can easily switch between strategic discussions and detailed analysis.
- You are comfortable challenging assumptions and asking the right questions.
- You communicate effectively with both technical specialists and senior business stakeholders.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve and continuous improvement is part of the culture.
- You are naturally curious and motivated to make a measurable impact.
What Makes You Successful
You enjoy being the person who connects the dots. You combine analytical depth with business understanding and have the ability to turn complexity into clarity. Most importantly, you want your work to matter, and in this role, it does.
We are offering
We know that great work starts with having the right balance, opportunities, and freedom to grow. In this role, you'll work on challenges that really matter, help keep critical banking services running smoothly, and continue building your expertise along the way. On top of that, you can count on:
- A competitive monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including holiday pay and a flexible benefits budget.
- A strong pension plan, so future-you is covered too.
- Hybrid working and flexibility in where and how you work, plus a fully equipped home office.
- Five weeks of annual leave, with additional company-wide days off throughout the year.
- Five "Banking for Better Days" each year to invest in your personal growth or contribute to a cause you care about.
- A personal learning budget for training, certifications, conferences, or whatever helps you develop.
- An annual public transport pass that you can use for both work and personal travel across the Netherlands.
- The chance to work on high-impact projects, solve complex challenges, and see the direct results of your work across the bank.
