Junior Public Sector Account Executive

Elastic, the Search Analytics company, is seeking a Junior Public Sector Account Executive.

What is The Role:

You’ll own a greenfield Dutch public sector territory: municipalities, healthcare, education and research. This is a hunter seat with loads of potential, Elastic has the momentum in this segment. You’ll open doors, build champions, and turn Search, Observability and Security use cases into new projects, with a main focus on applying AI.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build and run a territory plan that prioritizes where to hunt first, using account tiering and contact coverage.
• Generate your own pipeline through outbound, events, partners and public sector networks. Many accounts have no contacts yet, so you’ll build coverage from scratch.
• Run full-cycle deals with MEDDPICC discipline: economic buyer, champion, decision process, paper process.
• Navigate Dutch public procurement: tenders, Europese aanbesteding, framework agreements, and partner and reseller routes.
• Expand the existing customers, especially in universities and research.
• Forecast accurately and keep Salesforce clean.
• Work with Solutions Architects, partners and Elastic specialists to land technical wins.

What You Bring:

• We want to hire a sales talent, with <5 years of B2B enterprise software sales, with a proven new logo track record or proven SDR capacity
• A preference for Public sector experience in the Netherlands (government, healthcare or education). You understand procurement cycles and can build a deal around them.
• Experience selling technical solutions in search, observability, security, data or cloud.
• Fluent Dutch and English. You’ll write and sell in Dutch to Dutch-speaking buyers.
• Strong qualification habits. You know when to push, when to pivot, and when to walk away.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component.

The final compensation offered within the applicable range will be determined based on several objective factors, including relevant professional experience, level of skills and expertise, alignment with the role requirements, and the overall scope and complexity of the position.

The typical starting On-Target Earnings range (Base Salary + Variable) for this role is:

€95.900—€151.700 EUR
