As Lead Specialist Site Services & Collaboration (m/w/d), you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, business, and the modern workplace. You will help shape and continuously improve our digital workplace environment, enabling employees across multiple locations to work efficiently, seamlessly, and collaboratively. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with a strong service-oriented mindset, while staying curious about emerging technologies such as Microsoft 365, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will contribute to creating modern, connected, and future-ready ways of working.

The role can be based in Tulln an der Donau, Austria or Maastricht, Netherlands.

Your key responsibilities

  • Managing local IT and workplace requirements across assigned sites, including the coordination of service requests, escalations, and support-related topics.
  • Translating local Business, R&D, and OT requirements into clear and actionable requirements for global IT teams and external service providers, while supporting the implementation of appropriate solutions.
  • Supporting the global workplace, collaboration, AI and user-adoption agenda by responding to central-team requests and activating new ways of working in our workforce.
  • Bridging business requirements and the use of M365 solutions such as Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Viva, Forms, Places, and Power Platform to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, AI-powered productivity, and low-code solutions, particularly using Power Apps and Power Automate and provide input for governance of citizen development.
  • Promoting the responsible use of Copilot and AI by identifying suitable use cases, supporting user adoption, and applying defined governance and adoption guidelines.
  • Collecting and analyzing user feedback and service data, and translating insights into improvement initiatives to optimize the user experience, collaboration, and adoption of new digital ways of working.

We offer

  • The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is more than just a commitment — it is at the heart of our strategy and everything we do.
  • An environment where you can develop your skills, contribute your ideas, and make a real impact.
  • A collaborative team culture where we learn from one another, drive progress together, and work towards creating a better future.
  • Attractive benefits.
  • A full-time position with a permanent contract.
  • The salary for this position is competitive and aligned with market standards. Given that the role can be based in various countries within Europe, specific salary details will be discussed during the interview process with the recruiter.

You bring

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical training in IT, Business Informatics, Digital Workplace, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Initial practical experience in IT support, Site IT, remote support, ITSM, or working with external service providers; knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, and modern collaboration and workplace solutions.
  • Initial experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Forms, or a strong willingness and ability to quickly learn and adopt these technologies.
  • Excellent communication and service-oriented skills, combined with empathy for users and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way, as well as translate business requirements into suitable IT solutions.
  • An analytical and solution-oriented approach, an interest in AI and automation, and a passion for working with international, interdisciplinary, and multicultural teams.
  • Good English skills and knowledge of the local language are an advantage.
