Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current distributors and strategic partners.
- Collect and analyze market information to identify new growth and support decision-making.
- Train distributor and installer teams on products and technical knowledge.
- Assist distributors in identifying and closing sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and improve products.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and activities.
- Adapt to cross-cultural collaboration and follow headquarters’ directives and proactively support and execute company channel sales policies.
Qualification
- A strong network of contacts within the renewable energy, especially for residential energy storage and small-scale C&I energy storage.
- Strong technical knowledge of energy storage and inverter products, preferred technical sales or business development manager.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Enjoy challenging tasks with a friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and business development in solar industry.
- Comfortable with domestic and international travel as required by the company.

As BYD’s first overseas subsidiary, BYD Europe B.V., now located in Schiedam, the Netherlands, was founded in 1998.
BYD Europe mainly focuses on New Energy products, including Electric Vehicles (principally buses), Rechargeable batteries, Solar Panel, Energy Storage and Rail Transit.

Besides that, BYD has two factories in Europe, one located in Komarom, Hungary, and the other located in Beauvais, France. Electric buses manufactured by those two factories will be exported to customers across continental Europe. It is also in partnership with Alexander Dennis in the UK which assembles jointly developed buses for the UK market.
Up to now, the footprint of BYD electric vehicles covers over 70 major European cities, which will undoubtedly grow in the future.
