Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities, industrial clients, and renewable energy developers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design, proposal preparation, and deal closure.
- Work together with Technical Solution team to complete OTA and TAS process of all BYD Energy Storage products，and to make BYD Energy Storage new product is ready to be used by all the other customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, including utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for seamless BESS integration into the power grid. Stay informed on changes in grid codes, transmission line requirements, and energy storage regulations.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Extensive professional experience n renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management, with a focus on BESS, PCS, or EMS.
- Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance requirements (IEC, IEEE standards).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and grid codes for integrating energy storage systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and on-site project inspections
- Industry sectors: entertainment service, energy technology, electrical and electronic manufacturing
- Proficient in IEEE standards, EMS, technical solution design and team leadership
- Language: fluent in Dutch, English.

BYD Europe mainly focuses on New Energy products, including Electric Vehicles (principally buses), Rechargeable batteries, Solar Panel, Energy Storage and Rail Transit.
Besides that, BYD has two factories in Europe, one located in Komarom, Hungary, and the other located in Beauvais, France. Electric buses manufactured by those two factories will be exported to customers across continental Europe. It is also in partnership with Alexander Dennis in the UK which assembles jointly developed buses for the UK market.
Up to now, the footprint of BYD electric vehicles covers over 70 major European cities, which will undoubtedly grow in the future.
