Build software that keeps critical maritime operations moving.
We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to help develop and maintain the in-house applications that support our business-critical operations across onshore data centers, public cloud environments, and our remote offshore fleet.
This is an opportunity to grow your software engineering skills while working on real-world challenges. You’ll collaborate with experienced developers to build reliable applications that operate across distributed environments, including offshore locations where network connectivity can be limited.

- Delft
Your role
You’ll contribute to the development and delivery of software throughout its lifecycle, from implementing new features and writing tests to deployment and monitoring in production. Our team manages a portfolio of applications supporting different business domains within the organisation.
You will:
- Develop, test, and maintain custom applications under the guidance of experienced engineers;
- Contribute to frontend, backend, infrastructure, and release automation development;
- Participate in technical discussions and learn to make sound design and implementation decisions;
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews;
- Help improve our development tools, automation, documentation, and workflows;
- Work with key users and stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into practical software solutions;
- Collaborate with other developers and learn how to integrate external components and services into our applications.
Our Tech Stack
- Languages: Go, Python (backend), Typescript, React (frontend).
- API Development: REST, gRPC, Protobuf, OpenAPI.
- DB technologies: PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Messaging: NATS
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD) and Azure Cloud.
You don’t need experience with every technology in our stack. We value a solid foundation, curiosity, and the ability to learn new tools and concepts.
What we offer
If you enjoy building software, solving complex engineering problems, working across the technology stack, and seeing your work operate in the real world, this is an opportunity to make a direct impact on critical maritime operations.
Join us and help build the software that keeps our operations moving - from the data center to the cloud and all the way to the edge.
You can expect:
- Competitive industry-benchmarked salary and an excellent pension scheme.
- Performance-based salary increases and bonuses.
- 30 holiday days per year and flexible working hours.
- Extensive training and development programmes, study budgets and coaching.
- An international working environment with committed professional colleagues.
- Internal clubs, committees, parties and sporting events.
As part of our hiring process, candidates for IT positions are required to obtain a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG). The screening process will be initiated upon acceptance of an offer and must be successfully completed before the start of employment.
Stories from colleagues
If you enjoy solving problems, taking responsibility and working on projects where no two days are the same, you will find plenty of opportunities here.
