Based at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will join the Ecommerce team as an Ecommerce Trading Analyst, reporting to the Ecommerce Trading Manager within the broader Ecommerce organisation. This is a newly created role, built to support the analytical backbone for ASICS.com, one of the highest-impact commercial channels in the ASICS EMEA business. You will work cross-functionally with content, planning, digital marketing, loyalty, digital merchandising, and optimisation teams to ensure performance is visible, understood, and acted on across Ecommerce organisation.
ASICS.com is growing at significant scale, and this role sits at the centre of that growth: translating performance data across category, traffic, conversion, and customer experience into the commercial insights that drive trading decisions. You will shape how the Ecommerce function measures and reports its story, building dashboards and analytical tools that teams across the business rely on as their source of truth. We work with a rich data environment spanning GA4, SAP, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and we are looking for someone who is excited by the depth of that data, comfortable working across sources, and motivated by turning complexity into clarity. If you want a role where your analysis directly informs commercial strategy at scale, this is it.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis - track daily and weekly Ecommerce KPIs (sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, ASP, UPT) by country, category, product, channel, and device; identify trends, risks, and opportunities; flag deviations proactively before they reach leadership.
- Trading Reporting & Dashboards – support the development and continuous improvement of trading dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel; produce regular trading insights to support commercial decision-making; make performance data accessible and consistent across commercial stakeholders.
- Campaigns & Trading Moments – support the planning, execution, and post-analysis of key Ecommerce campaigns and trading moments; track the impact of promotional activities and product launches on sales, traffic, conversion, and customer behaviour.
- Customer Journey & Conversion Analysis – use GA4 and Contentsquare to investigate performance drivers and identify conversion improvement opportunities across the online journey; translate findings into clear commercial recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – work closely with content, planning, digital marketing, loyalty, digital merchandising, and optimisation teams; communicate data clearly to each audience using the right data definitions; cover the Trading Manager in trade meetings and present findings independently when required.
- Data Integrity & Contextualisation – ensure reports and dashboards are accurate and contextualised correctly; understand what each data source represents (GA4, SAP, SFCC) and communicate the right data to the right audience; flag data quality issues and support alignment across teams.
You have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience would be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in D2C Ecommerce, digital trading, or Ecommerce analytics – pure data analytics without Ecommerce commercial context is not equivalent.
- High proficiency in GA4: custom reports, conversion funnel analysis, channel/device/country segmentation, and performance driver identification; this is a daily hands-on tool.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI: builds trading analyses, pivot tables, and complex data models independently in Excel; creates and maintains live trading dashboards in Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Ecommerce KPIs and the online conversion funnel (Sales, Traffic, Conversion Rate, AOV, ASP, UPT, Add-to-Cart Rate); fluency in digital marketing channels (paid, organic, email, affiliate) and their impact on on-site trading performance.
- Strong communication skills: translates complex data into clear commercial narrative and presents confidently to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Contentsquare or an equivalent digital experience analytics tool is a plus; Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or equivalent Ecommerce platform experience is also an advantage.
