You take ownership of evolving NBIF Unified into a highly automated, operationally excellent self-service orchestration platform, enabling consumers to onboard and use the services they need securely, reliably and with minimal manual intervention.

You & your role

As Medior Azure Platform Engineer, you know the secrets of building and operating secure, scalable Azure platforms. You shape NBIF Unified, simplify model onboarding and automate delivery and operations. You strengthen security and observability while helping the Orchestration Platform squad develop the platform into a sustainable business-as-usual service. You work closely with product, architecture, risk, security and model teams.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Design and evolve secure, scalable Azure services and reusable orchestration patterns for NBIF Unified.
• Automate infrastructure, testing, deployment and operations to increase reliability and reduce manual work.
• Bring consumers, engineers and control functions together to enable controlled onboarding without unnecessary bespoke solutions.

You define service indicators and objectives, improve observability and learn from incidents. You also use artificial intelligence responsibly to support coding, documentation, troubleshooting and operations, with appropriate attention to privacy, security and human oversight.

The people in the Orchestration Platform squad build and operate shared orchestration capabilities for credit-risk models. Working together is the way we work; as 1 technical squad at Rabobank.

You & your talent

• 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, platform engineering and data-intensive or workflow-orchestration services.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Airflow, and YAML
• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Bicep or Terraform, automated testing, Python or another relevant language, and strong SQL.
• Experience with observability, incident management, reliability engineering and secure cloud design, including identity, secrets and network controls.
• Ownership: you take responsibility from design through production and improve outcomes using evidence.
• Collaboration: you communicate clearly, invite different perspectives and work effectively across business and engineering disciplines.
• Judgement: you simplify complex problems, challenge constructively and balance delivery, reliability, security and maintainability.
• You hold, or are willing to obtain, a relevant Azure certification such as Azure Administrator Associate. Certifications in Azure DevOps, Azure Security, Azure Data Engineering, Terraform or Databricks are an advantage.
