How do you make our customers happy?

By enabling customers, partners, and businesses to prove who they are safely, quickly, and with minimal friction. Identity Verification is a critical foundation for building trust on the bol platform. Whether it is onboarding partners, meeting regulatory requirements, preventing fraud, or enabling financial services, verification must be secure, compliant, and effortless.

As the Senior Product Manager for Identification, you own one of bol’s most strategic trust capabilities. You connect the product vision for identification to bol’s broader business, compliance, and security strategy, translating that vision into plans that deliver meaningful outcomes for customers, partners, and the business.

Your work helps bol grow safely and responsibly while maintaining trust and meeting evolving regulatory obligations.

The biggest challenge

Identification sits at the intersection of customer experience, partner onboarding, fraud prevention, compliance, risk management, and platform architecture.

The core challenge is balancing regulatory and security requirements with a seamless user experience and operational efficiency. You will navigate competing priorities across engineering, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, legal, financial services, and business teams, ensuring stakeholders understand the trade-offs between security, compliance, customer experience, and growth.

Identification supports multiple strategic initiatives across bol, from financial services and partner onboarding to regulatory compliance and fraud prevention. You will align stakeholders around a shared vision and drive cross-domain priorities that deliver long-term value.

You will excel by simplifying complexity, clearly articulating risk and business impact, and bringing people together in an environment where trust and compliance are essential.

What you’ll do as Senior Product Manager of Identification

As part of Cybersecurity, you own the strategy, discovery, and outcomes for Team Identification. You work closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, compliance specialists, and stakeholders across bol.

You run a continuous product discovery and delivery process, ensuring day-to-day decisions contribute to long-term strategic goals.

  • Connect the product vision for Identification to bol’s broader business, compliance, and security strategy.
  • Define and drive a roadmap that enables trusted onboarding, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.
  • Set clear priorities that provide teams with focus and meaningful challenges while balancing customer experience, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to validate solutions that are desirable, viable, compliant, and technically feasible.
  • Manage the product backlog and drive prioritization decisions across multiple domains and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Fraud & Risk, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Cybersecurity, Financial Services, and business teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions.
  • Contribute to platform and architectural decisions by bringing product, risk, and compliance perspectives into technical discussions.
  • Create clarity in complex regulatory and risk environments by translating requirements into actionable product decisions.
  • Grow product management capabilities by mentoring Product Managers and promoting a data-driven and outcome-focused product culture.

Why you can make a difference

As a Senior Product Manager, you make a difference by turning complex, technical challenges into impactful solutions. With at least 5 years of experience in a product-led organization, you feel right at home in technically complex domains such as security or identification. You speak the language of engineering and seamlessly bridge high-level strategy with a hands-on product mindset, always balancing customer experience, business goals, and smart risk management.

Driven by data, you focus on delivering real outcomes rather than just output. You look beyond the scope of a single team, taking ownership of cross-domain products with significant technical depth and steering them toward sustained impact. Thanks to your ability to articulate complexity clearly, you easily align senior stakeholders and diverse teams around a shared vision. In doing so, you deliver lasting value for our platforms while elevating the practice of product management across the entire organization.

3 reasons why this is (not) for you

You see the big picture
You think in systems, not silos, understanding how every piece impacts the whole.

You lead without a title
You influence through clarity, trust, and strong relationships rather than authority.

You build products and with people
You enjoy growing both scalable products and the teams behind them.

You love staying in your lane
You prefer operating within a narrowly scoped product or feature area rather than steering broader, interconnected domains.

You’d rather pass the hot potato
You avoid high-stakes decision-making when the pressure is on.

You prefer the passenger seat
You thrive on executing a predefined roadmap rather than shaping strategy yourself.

Where you'll be working
