WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The EMEA Training Apparel Merchandising team shapes the vision, strategy, product offer, and assortment direction for the Training Apparel business across EMEA.

This role partners with Geo, Global, and Channel Merchandising, DSM, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Marketplace teams to deliver consumer-led, profitable growth. The role reports to the Director, EMEA Training Apparel Merchandising.

Nike is looking for a consumer-focused merchant with a strong affinity for product who can thrive in the fast-moving world of retail and an evolving marketplace. A successful Merchant II in Nike Training Apparel strengthens an inclusive, positive, and forward-thinking team dynamic, bringing curiosity, energy, and passion to the work. This merchant understands consumer needs and marketplace dynamics, approaches opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset, and learns through experimentation. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, think ahead, and adapt their approach as priorities evolve.

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail, merchandising, product management, marketplace, sales, buying, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer needs and marketplace dynamics.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with experience contributing to new concepts, projects, or ideas.
  • Ability to analyze business performance, consumer insights, and marketplace trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to efficient, high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach that contributes to an inclusive and positive working environment.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will support strategy and ideation, build product assortments, contribute to line planning, and use data and analytics to drive end-to-end profitability. You will build strong cross-functional relationships, turn research and analysis into clear recommendations, and bring curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning to every season.

  • Support Lead and Senior Merchants throughout the seasonal CODE process.
  • Communicate seasonal product updates to Marketplace and Nike Direct partners.
  • Create, maintain, and share accurate seasonal information, including the coordination of product samples.
  • Contribute to product assortment planning and line reviews using data and consumer insights.
