Description of assignment
In this strategic graduation assignment, you will dive into the manager experience to uncover decision-making challenges, capability gaps, and barriers to tool adoption. You will design practical recommendations and a future-state vision to boost manager effectiveness. From enhancing solutions like the Manager Hub and Report Shop to creating engaging learning interventions and change strategies, your work will directly shape data-informed leadership across Vanderlande.
Department description
You will join the Global Specialists team within Global HR Services. This team shapes and improves HR services, processes, and solutions to support employees and managers worldwide.
Working closely with the Distribution domain, managers, and HR Partners, you will explore how to better enable leaders in making informed people decisions. This role offers practical experience in organizational development, manager enablement, and change management within a global company.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Map key people decisions throughout the employee lifecycle and assess how current HR tools and workforce insights support them
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops with managers and HR stakeholders to identify support needs and barriers to data usage
- Analyze process, capability, and adoption gaps regarding data interpretation and decision-making
- Benchmark best practices in manager enablement and data-informed leadership
- Develop practical recommendations and a future-state design to improve manager effectiveness and tool adoption
- Create an implementation roadmap and present findings to HR leadership and business stakeholders
Your profile
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with an interest in organizational effectiveness and data-informed decision-making
- Enjoys stakeholder engagement, conducting research, and translating insights into practical recommendations
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with stakeholders across a global organization
- Experience with qualitative research, change management, continuous improvement, or project work is preferred
- Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands

- A monthly internship allowance (based on a 40-hour work week):
Bachelor: €500 per month
Master: €550 per month - Full commuting allowance, including public transport, depending on whether you have access to free public transport or not
