We are looking for a Angular Developer who wants to play an important role in building, modernising, and maintaining enterprise web applications. Do you enjoy designing, implementing, and supporting robust access and authorization solutions that help protect customers, colleagues, and the bank? Then we’re looking for you! This is a hands-on Angular Developer role for someone who understands Identity & Access Management (IAM), enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is confident working with stakeholders across technology and security domains. Together with the team, you will help deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IAM capabilities, while contributing to continuous improvement of our platforms and way of working.

Your job

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Upgrade Angular applications to the latest framework versions
  • Migrate test suites from Karma/Jasmine to Vitest
  • Refactor NgModule-based applications into standalone architecture
  • Develop new UI components and application features
  • Resolve defects and reduce technical debt
  • Maintain test coverage and code quality standards
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions
  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers on application modernisation initiatives

Working environment

You will be part of a DevOps team within the Access & Authorization Capability of the Value Domain I&A Technology. The team works on one of the bank’s Crown Jewel applications, where reliability is essential for business continuity. The application plays an important role in supporting secure access across the bank’s application landscape. You will be a key part of the delivery process, with room to develop new UI components and improve the application.

Your profile

You are a hands-on and curious Angular Developer who takes pride in building a secure, usable and reliable user experience. You like working in a team where quality is a shared responsibility. You actively work with developers, DevOps engineers and stakeholders to understand what is changing, what is needed from an user perspective, what could break and how issues can be prevented. You are pragmatic, structured and persistent.

To be successful in this role, you recognize yourself in the following requirements:

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience with Angular development
  • Strong knowledge of Angular 15+ (preferably Angular 17/18+)
  • Experience upgrading Angular applications between major versions
  • Components, Services, Directives, Pipes
  • Dependency Injection
  • Routing and Lazy Loading
  • Reactive Forms
  • RxJS and Observables
  • Change Detection
  • Experience with Angular CLI
