The role
Are you the bridge between Business and IT? Do you excel in optimizing engineering processes through innovative applications? If so, we want you!
Key accountabilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for the application developments.
- Analyze issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
- Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
- Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Hull.
- Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
- Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull.
- Manage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project related data setup.
- Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
- Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Cadmatic Hull.
- Prepare and develop Cadmatic training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
Skills & experience
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or proven competence in engineering, preferably in the field of Shipbuilding.
- Proficiency with Cadmatic platform.
- Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management is preferred.
- Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
- Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
- Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
