As a learning & development specialist, you play a key role in strengthening the growth and development of our employees, teams, and organization. You translate business challenges and strategic objectives into impactful learning solutions that contribute directly to leadership development, professional excellence, talent growth, and sustainable employability.

What are you going to do?

You partner with managers, HR business partners, and other stakeholders to identify learning and development needs across the organization. Based on these insights, you design and implement effective learning journeys, development programs, workshops, and other interventions that support both individual and organizational growth.

You lead L&D initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring they are well embedded in daily practice and aligned with business goals. Applying modern learning principles such as learning on the job, social learning, blended learning, and the 70-20-10 approach, you create meaningful learning experiences that go beyond traditional training programs.

In addition, you contribute to the further development of the Demcon Academy and help foster a culture where learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are a natural part of everyday work. You monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the impact of our learning and development activities.

By connecting people, business objectives, and learning solutions, you help ensure that Demcon continues to grow through the development of its talent.

What do you bring to the table?

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Learning & Development, Educational Sciences, Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in a Learning & Development, HRD, or organizational development role.
• Experience in analyzing learning and development needs and translating these into effective learning interventions and development programs;
• Knowledge of modern learning methodologies, such as blended learning, social learning, learning on the job, and the 70-20-10 framework;
• Experience in project management and successfully implementing organization-wide development initiatives;
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect and engage people at all levels of the organization;
• Analytical skills to identify development needs, measure learning outcomes, and evaluate the impact of interventions;
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• A proactive, curious, and results-driven mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a continuous improvement mentality.

• A competitive salary between €43,080 and €78,348 per year (excluding 8% holiday pay), depending on your experience;
• 8% holiday pay, with the option to have this paid out in May or monthly with your salary;
