You work on reusable workflows, integrations and automation capabilities for the Engineering Journey and help build a scalable, consistent and developer-friendly platform.

Help shape the way engineers at Rabobank design, build and collaborate every day. You develop workflows, integrations and orchestration patterns for the ANOW! platform, working closely with service providers, platform engineers and product owners.
You & your role
You work in an area with 8 squads. One squad focuses on orchestration and workflow enablement. Together, you reduce manual work, improve engineering experiences and help teams across Rabobank use scalable automation patterns.
8,000+ engineers use the Engineering Journey to design, build and collaborate every day. Over 48,000 Rabobank colleagues work worldwide.
Top 3 responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain orchestration workflows that help teams automate engineering journeys through the ANOW! platform.
- Build reusable workflow templates and automation components that reduce manual work and improve developer experience.
- Develop integrations with REST APIs, event-driven architectures and callback-based patterns for scalable service onboarding.
You also contribute to platform standardisation, scalability and maintainability. By improving engineering practices and optimising workflows, you help create a platform that supports teams today and can grow with them tomorrow.

You & your talent
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or Platform Engineer
- Strong API and integration development experience
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, webhooks, and service integrations
- Experience with TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and engineering mindset
- Ability to design reusable and scalable solutions
Nice-to-have
- Experience with workflow or orchestration platforms
- Experience with ANOW! Automate
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Experience with Terraform, CDK, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Platform engineering experience
- Domain-driven design knowledge
