You and your job

You are part of a team of Product Managers responsible for bank wide data management and governance services used across Rabobank. These services cover data quality management, metadata management, data lineage, reference data, data protection/privacy management, AI governance and context management.

As a Product Manager for Enterprise Data Management, you are responsible for the vision, roadmap, adoption and continuous improvement of enterprise data management capabilities. You lead a multidisciplinary squad and oversee a complex stakeholder landscape across Rabobank. Your portfolio combines strategic change with reliable day-to-day service delivery. Current priorities include enabling AI-ready data, embedding data as a product, improving the end-to-end data issue management process, using AI to automate and simplify data management processes, and continuously evolving our capabilities and technology landscape to remain fit for purpose.

Practical Examples

• Work closely with Chapter Global Data Management to implement policy requirements and business processes for data management globally.
• Translate Rabobank’s enterprise data management ambitions into a compelling product vision, measurable outcomes and a prioritised roadmap that balances strategic change with reliable day-to-day service delivery.
• Introduce AI-enabled automation to boost productivity and quality in areas such as data definition, data quality requirement and specification generation and data issue management identification.
• Guide the evolution and rationalisation of the technology landscape, making deliberate choices between enhancing, integrating or replacing capabilities.
• Ensure enterprise data management and governance services remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose while continuously improving the user experience.

• Lead an existing multidisciplinary squad responsible for developing, operating and continuously improving enterprise data management services used across Rabobank.
• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision, measurable outcomes and a prioritised roadmap for enterprise data management capabilities, and manage delivery through a transparent, well-maintained backlog that balances user value, AI-enabled automation, regulatory requirements, operational continuity and technology evolution.
• Oversee a complex stakeholder landscape, building alignment and navigating dependencies, competing interests and governance to deliver sustainable outcomes.

You and your talent

• Academic background (bachelor’s or master’s degree).
• At least three years of experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data management.
• Experience in developing a product vision, roadmap and backlog and managing delivery with a multidisciplinary squad.
• Ability to make strategical choices to continuously improve our enterprise data management capabilities.
• Experience working in a complex, international and highly regulated organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to connect business and technology stakeholders.
• You are proactive, result-driven and able to translate complex challenges into clear priorities and practical solutions.
• Affinity with new developments in data, technology and AI.
• Fluent in English.
• You must be located in the Netherlands, re-location is not possible for this role.

This is what we offer you

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,994 and EUR 8,563 (scale 10) for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
