R&D Development Specialist

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

• Leading product development from concept to market launch — benchtop, scale-up, the full journey
• Running small to medium cross-functional projects as the R&D lead
• Translating consumer and business needs into products that hit quality, cost and sustainability targets
• Managing specification lifecycle from creation to retirement
• Driving cost and process optimisation without compromising on quality

Who you are:

Curious, hands-on and passionate about food science and technology. You're comfortable leading projects and working across functions, and you want your work to translate into products that people actually enjoy every day.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology or a related engineering discipline
• 1 - 3 years of experience in product development within food, beverage or FMCG
• Solid understanding of ingredients, processing technologies and development methodologies
• Curious, proactive and passionate about consumer-centric innovation
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
