As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of an Agile DevOps team responsible for building and maintaining data solutions that support business processes and decision-making across the bank.

Together with experienced colleagues, you will:

This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure, Python, Databricks, Kafka, and Airflow while working on meaningful projects.

You are curious, eager to learn, and have a passion for technology and data. You enjoy working with others and are motivated to develop your technical skills.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, preferably Python.
  • Basic understanding of databases and data processing concepts.
  • Interest in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow within a Data Engineering role.

It is a plus if you have experience through internships, university projects, personal projects, or certifications in technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Kafka, or Airflow.

  • Five weeks of vacation per year, supplemented by two mandatory days off. You can also purchase up to four additional weeks of vacation annually.
  • Five “Banking for better days”: extra days off that you can use for personal development or volunteer work.
  • You receive a development budget of €1,000 per year, which can accumulate up to €3,000.
