Join our team at Danone as a Data specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our data transformation journey, where technology and data-driven insights are at the core of our Benelux markets. Contribute data products to drive business performance and leverage global products and technologies to local and EU needs.

The IT & Data Benelux team consists of over 150 passionate Danoners, enabling 6000 colleagues in The Netherlands and Belgium to make a bigger impact with technology.

We are looking for someone as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility to extend the VIE contract.

You will have multiple responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate rapid prototyping of data solutions in collaboration with partners.
• Oversee the technical design of D&A solutions within an innovative environment, including Azure Cloud, Databricks, Informatica, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Ensure alignment with the data architecture and framework of the Global, EMEA, and Local data environment.
• Drive product adoption by tracking development progress and incorporating feedback.
• Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

About you

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and familiarity with data processing frameworks.
• Comfortable learning new tools such as Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical and communication/presentation skills, including storytelling through data and presenting insights to different stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Flexible and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Agile-Scrum methodology will be considered a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a type of contract linked to Business France, allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

• You must be aged 18 to 28 and have completed national service obligation.
• You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
• You have never done a V.I.E before.
