As a Senior .NET & Azure Developer at Rabobank, you will work within Tech4Dev on technology that enables efficient DevOps and work-item management. You will use C#, .NET Core, Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps to automate and standardise services for Rabobank engineers.

Tech4Dev supports more than 400 squads that build Rabobank’s modern digital experience. Your work helps engineers onboard, design solutions, manage tasks, develop software and deploy changes efficiently, while meeting high standards for quality, performance and security.

What will you do as a Senior .NET & Azure Developer?

• Develop and maintain backend solutions in C# and .NET Core that support DevOps and work-item management for Rabobank engineers.
• Customise and extend Azure DevOps services through platform administration, Azure DevOps Pipelines, APIs and the Microsoft Graph REST API.
• Automate development and deployment processes to help engineers onboard, build features and release software efficiently.
• Build reliable and scalable services with Microsoft Azure components such as Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Storage Accounts and Azure SQL.
• Collaborate with squad members, the product owner, scrum master and solution architect to balance technical quality, security and business priorities.

Skills, tools and areas of expertise

In this role, you will work with or develop knowledge of:

• C#, .NET and .NET Core.
• Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Storage Accounts and Azure SQL.
• Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure DevOps administration and Azure DevOps APIs.
• API design, API development and the Microsoft Graph REST API.
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery, DevOps methods and the software development lifecycle.
• Git, source control and branching strategies.
• Infrastructure as Code with Bicep and Terraform.
• MSSQL and Azure SQL.
• Bash, PowerShell or Python scripting.
• AI-enabled development tools.
• Process automation, reporting and analytics integrations.

Within Tribe Tech4Engineering, the Tech4Dev squads develop tools and supporting processes for more than 400 squads. You will work with your squad members, the product owner, scrum master and solution architect to provide reliable and easy-to-use services for Rabobank engineers.

What do you bring?

Must-haves:

• Senior-level experience in .NET development, including backend programming with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, Azure App Service and Azure SQL.
• Experience in API design and development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps setup and administration, Azure DevOps Pipelines and the Microsoft Graph REST API.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery, DevOps methods and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity, code quality and solution outcomes.
• Knowledge of Git, source control and branching strategies.
• Experience with MSSQL.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Bicep, and familiarity with Terraform.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• A critical and analytical approach to identifying the root cause of problems.
• The ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and practical approach, with ownership of problems and outcomes.

Nice-to-haves:

• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps APIs and services.
• Experience developing Azure DevOps extensions.
• Experience building APIs and data services for reporting, analytics and integration platforms such as Backstage and Kong.
• Experience developing Power BI semantic models.
• Experience developing Power BI reports.
• AZ-400: DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate certification.
• DP-900: Azure Data Fundamentals certification.
• Experience supporting teams with onboarding or migration to new technologies.
• Experience with large-scale rollouts in complex enterprise environments.
• Leadership skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
