We are seeking a Senior Manager Technology Transformation who can translate enterprise technology strategy into tangible outcomes and drive high-impact digital, AI, and IT transformation initiatives. The role combines strategic planning, governance, operating model development, policy design, transformation execution, managing complex changes, aligning multi-stakeholder interests, and delivering measurable value. You will work across strategic, tactical, and operational levels to shape the future direction of IT while ensuring successful implementation of key modernization, AI, digital, data, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing enterprise-wide IT programs, a deep understanding of emerging technologies, and the gravitas to influence leadership and business units alike.
Your challenges
Lead the execution of KPMG’s IT strategy and transformation agenda. Shape technology direction, governance, standards, operating models, and strategic roadmaps, while translating these into enterprise-wide modernization, AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to simplify the technology landscape, strengthen organizational capabilities, and deliver measurable business value.
- Develop and maintain the IT strategy, future-state technology direction, and multi-year roadmaps.
- Define and govern technology standards, policies, principles, and governance frameworks.
- Design and evolve the IT operating model, governance model, and organizational capabilities required to execute the technology strategy.
- Lead large-scale IT transformation initiatives from strategy to execution and value realization.
- Translate business goals and strategy into actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, and execution plans, balancing agility with risk control.
- Define, implement, and mature program governance, stakeholder communication frameworks, and KPIs to ensure transparency, accountability, and delivery performance.
- Drive change management, organizational readiness, and capability development across service lines.
- Support executive decision-making with insightful reporting, risk and opportunity assessments, financial oversight, and recommendations.
- Develop and present business and investment cases, progress reports, and ROI analyses to senior leadership.
- Act as a think tank to IT and business leadership, offering insights on digital trends, innovation, and transformation best practices.
- Analyze the current IT ecosystem and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Assess emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and maintain the organization’s competitive edge.
- Partner with multiple functions and business leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization to align strategic priorities.
This is what you bring
- A completed master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT program management, digital transformation, enterprise transformation, or technology consulting, ideally in a large multinational setting.
- Demonstrated experience developing technology strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, policies, standards, and multi-year roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology domains such as cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, digital workplace, applications, and automation.
- Experience in organizational change, executive stakeholder management, and cross-functional decision-making.
- Relevant certifications in areas such as IT governance, cloud, enterprise architecture, agile delivery, or program management are an advantage.
- Fluent English and Dutch communication skills at C1 level or above, enabling effective collaboration across local and global teams.
