Within Philips’ Non-Financial Reporting team, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern for the Internship Sustainability and Compliance Intern (non-thesis) role to support the delivery of our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting in our Annual Report.

Your Role
Within Philips’ Non-Financial Reporting team, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the delivery of our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting in our Annual Report. This role is supporting the coordination and execution of key ESG deliverables—including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting and compliance, annual report content, and tool improvements. You will work closely with the Sustainability Reporting Officer and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant reporting.
Your key areas of responsibility:
- Support ESG and CSRD reporting by helping track timelines, deliverables, and key reporting milestones.
- Collect, organize, and check sustainability data to help ensure accurate and complete reporting.
- Contribute to Annual Report content by supporting drafting, consistency checks, and disclosure preparation.
- Work with different teams across Philips to gather input, follow up on actions, and keep reporting activities moving.
- Help improve reporting processes by maintaining trackers, documentation, and identifying smarter ways of working.
You’re the right fit if
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability, HR, Data Analytics, or a related field
- You have a strong interest in ESG, sustainability, or corporate reporting
- You are highly detail-oriented and comfortable working with data
- You are organized and able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- You are proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively
- You are fluent in English
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
We offer you:
A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational company. In addition, we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:
- Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
- Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
- Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance.
- Paid holidays per internship term.
