Senior EPM Solution Architect (Supply Chain)
At Adyen, the supply chain is not just about moving physical goods, it's about fueling our global momentum. We work across the business to bring clarity, optimize payment terminal and accessories inventory, and help teams scale our global operations faster. We are now looking for an EPM Solution Architect (Supply Chain) to join our growing team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will own our supply chain planning, inventory, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) models in Pigment, raising the bar on data quality, forecast automation, scenario analysis, and scalable supply chain execution.
This role sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, enterprise data, and advanced systems modeling. As one of the founding technical members of our internal Planning Center of Excellence (CoE), you will build the foundational models that help us predict demand, optimize stock visibility, and run a world-class supply chain with absolute confidence.
What you'll do
- Own Pigment for Supply Chain Planning: Build, maintain, and continuously improve our core supply chain models (S&OP, Demand & Supply Planning, Terminal Registry, Lifecycle Tracking, and Stock Visibility).
- Lead the Co-Build Phase: Partner directly with our implementation consultants during the IMS project build phases to actively configure logic, supply source definitions, and translate complex supply chain rules into scalable multi-dimensional Pigment models.
- Fix Supply Chain Data at the Root: Identify recurring discrepancies in inventory tracking and planning outputs. Trace them back through data pipelines, lookups, and warehouse APIs (in partnership with our Data Engineering team) to drive root-cause fixes.
- Drive Strategic Autonomy: Own and modify supply chain routing rules, serial attributes, and forecasting parameters directly within the planning platform post-implementation, ensuring we run a self-sufficient ecosystem without relying on external consultants.
- Enable and Upskill Planners: Champion platform adoption across the organization. Design training resources and upskill demand and supply planners to become "Level 2" model builders so they can serve as first-line administrators.
- Build Scenario Planning & Stress Testing: Establish advanced scenario simulation models to stress-test our supply chain against global market disruptions, lead-time changes, and warehouse expansion impacts.
Who you are
- You bring 8+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations planning, business intelligence, or systems-focused roles.
- You understand core supply chain dynamics (S&OP, lead times, safety stock, inventory valuation, and warehouse logistics) and can translate these mechanics into robust model logic.
- You are an experienced planning modeler—hands-on experience with Pigment or Anaplan is a strong plus. If you have experience in other multi-dimensional planning tools (Adaptive, Jedox, TM1), you have the drive and capacity to become a Pigment expert rapidly.
- You are strong in data: you can structure large supply chain datasets, validate complex business logic, build automated system validation controls, and write SQL.
- You are a natural platform owner: you architect for system performance, scalability, governance, and pristine user experience, not just individual outputs.
- You are an excellent communicator who can distill complex supply chain logic into simple, intuitive planning screens for business users.
- You are familiar with numerous AI models and embed AI usage in your daily work.
