You drive enterprise-wide Data & AI adoption by turning strategy into sustainable business impact. You lead complex transformation initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and build communities and capabilities that strengthen data maturity across the organization. Leveraging your hands-on experience in Data Management and Data Governance, you act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, Process Owners, and Data Experts, translating Data & AI ambitions into practical adoption and implementation approaches that deliver lasting change.

Your job

You play a central role in strengthening ABN AMRO's Data & AI capabilities and maturity. You work across capabilities, business domains and stakeholder groups to ensure Data & AI processes, standards and ways of working are successfully adopted and embedded in everyday practice. Recognizing that capabilities differ in maturity, business impact and regulatory context, you help determine where standardization adds value and where tailored approaches are needed. A key part of your role is leading and growing ABN AMROs Data & AI communities while driving adoption, capability-building and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. You operate with a high degree of autonomy, working closely with Data Management Experts, Data Business Partners, Process Owners and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, drive improvements and create lasting organizational impact.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow ABN AMROs Data & AI communities, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and capability development across the organization.
  • Drive consistent adoption and implementation of Data & AI capabilities while recognizing differences in maturity, business context and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, initiate and drive improvements that accelerate the adoption of Data & AI processes, standards and ways of working across the bank.
  • Own and drive adoption, communication, community and capability-building initiatives, ensuring measurable and lasting organizational impact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for stakeholders across business, data and implementation teams, leveraging strong Data Management and Data Governance expertise to challenge, guide and support decision-making.
  • Translate stakeholder feedback and organizational insights into concrete actions that strengthen the Data & AI value chain and increase Data & AI maturity across the organization.

Work environment

Our work focuses on creating scalable adoption approaches, building capabilities, driving engagement and supporting successful implementation across a diverse and evolving Data & AI landscape. The team consists of Data Management Experts and Business Consultants. Through process ownership, community leadership, adoption and continuous improvement, we contribute to a mature and scalable Data & AI organization.

Your profile

  • Master's degree (WO) or equivalent level of thinking and working.
  • Extensive experience in data transformation, change and consulting roles within complex organizations (hard requirement).
  • Proven track record in driving organizational adoption, capability building and change initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing and embedding Data Management and Data Governance practices in a large-scale organizational environment.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority and drive enterprise-wide change across business and data domains.
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical and scalable implementation approaches.
  • Pragmatic, structured and results-oriented, combined with a high degree of ownership and the ability to operate independently.

Success in this role means proactively identifying opportunities, building momentum and delivering meaningful improvements in Data & AI adoption, capability development and organizational maturity.
