Dit is jouw rol

You are responsible for the operational performance of our international commercial logistics carriers. You act as the key link between internal stakeholders and external transportation partners and ensure the right balance between quality, cost and customer satisfaction. Your focus is on monitoring carrier performance, maintaining strong relationships and driving operational excellence across our international parcel network.

A major part of your role is managing operational incidents and performance improvements. When disruptions occur, you stay calm, analyse operational and performance data, identify root causes and coordinate solutions with both internal teams and external partners. You conduct monthly business reviews, monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, transit times, damage ratios, complaints, customer contacts and surcharge performance, and drive continuous improvements through projects involving dashboards, SharePoint solutions and process optimisation. You work closely with stakeholders across multiple European countries and may occasionally travel internationally when business needs require it.

You will join the Spring Europe Procurement Team. The team consists of Procurement Managers, Operational Partnership Managers and a Contract Manager. You will report to Balint Kovacs and work in a highly international environment where collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement are key. The team has an open and informal culture, enjoys regular team lunches, dinners and Spring events, and works in a flexible hybrid setup with an average of two office days per week. You will collaborate daily with colleagues from Customer Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement and other international teams, while working closely with partners across Europe.

• Salary between €3,485 and €5,280 gross per month based on 39.25 hours per week.

You are an experienced professional who thrives in an international environment. You know how to build trust with partners, influence stakeholders and keep a cool head when operational challenges arise. You are analytical, proactive, culturally aware and able to make well-founded decisions in a dynamic logistics environment.

You also have the following qualities:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce or transportation management.
• You have proven experience managing relationships with international suppliers, carriers or logistics partners.
• You have strong experience with stakeholder management in an international environment.
• You have experience analysing operational KPIs and driving performance improvements.
• You are experienced with Excel, Power BI and data-driven decision-making.
• You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
• You hold a higher vocational or university thinking level in a commercial or logistical direction.
