Position Summary
The Consultant I works with a team of professionals responsible for implementing solutions for customers. This role researches, isolates, diagnoses, resolves, and follows up on problems for customer change events. When necessary, the Consultant I also manages escalated events as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing the implementation project.
- Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.
- Provide proactive project updates, set realistic expectations, and maintain transparency throughout every project phase.
- Serve as a customer advocate internally, ensuring team deliverables align directly with the client’s strategic business goals.
- Navigate defined project environments where requirements or trading partner specifications may be incomplete.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding each trading partner's operational context and business priorities.
- Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
- Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
- Track progress of implementation projects, ensure deadlines are met, and resolve scheduling issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in client-facing roles.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to gather requirements and understand customer business needs.
- Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex topics in a clear and customer-friendly way.
- Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work with data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ownership mindset with accountability for customer outcomes.
- Ability to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and project timelines.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently drive issues to resolution.
