How you can make your mark

As a Process Consultant Fleet, Equipment & Logistics within the IT Information Systems department, you will play a key role in optimizing business processes and aligning them with the IT applications that support operational activities.

You will be involved in processes related to fleet management, equipment and asset management, logistics operations, maintenance, planning, and related reporting processes. These business processes are supported by a variety of applications and systems used for fleet operations, equipment management, asset lifecycle management, logistics planning, maintenance management, and reporting.

You will work closely with both international management and operational teams across various business units. Acting as the bridge between the business, functional application management, and IT, you will gather business requirements and translate them into process flows, functional designs, and application improvements. You are able to analyse existing processes, identify optimization opportunities, assess feasibility, and document proposed solutions and outcomes.

In addition, you will support and guide the business through the implementation of process improvements and application enhancements. You will also lead or actively participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, asset utilization, and process performance. Occasional international travel may be required to support stakeholders and project activities.

Your responsibilities as a Process Consultant Fleet, Equipment & Logistics

  • Act as the process knowledge owner and advisor for fleet, equipment, asset management, and logistics-related processes and applications.
  • Map, analyse, and optimize existing business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Gather business requirements, develop business cases, and translate these into functional designs and system enhancements.
  • Drive and coordinate application improvements to better support operational and business needs.
  • Support and guide the business in implementing process changes and optimization initiatives with operational impact.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement and IT-related projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from business, operations, application management, and IT to ensure successful delivery of improvements.
  • Document processes, requirements, functional designs, and project outcomes.

Your qualities

You can make your mark as a Process Consultant Fleet, Equipment & Logistics if you have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar process consulting, business analysis, or continuous improvement role.
  • Experience with fleet management, equipment management, asset management, logistics processes, or maintenance-related environments.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree; a degree in Business Administration (Bedrijfskunde) is considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience with business process mapping, process optimization methodologies, and project delivery.
  • Affinity with IT systems, application management, and data-driven process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international travel.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands.
