How do you help keep the Netherlands powered? As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you are responsible for strengthening TenneT’s enterprise risk management capabilities, ensuring that risk-informed decision-making supports a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy system.

Your responsibilities:

• You advise and facilitate stakeholders and risk coordinators in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring strategic, financial, operational, compliance, and sustainability risks, enabling informed decision-making across TenneT.
• You maintain and further develop TenneT’s Enterprise Risk Management framework, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to risk management throughout the organization.
• You translate risk policies and enterprise frameworks into practical divisional and unit-level applications, ensuring alignment between corporate requirements and operational execution.
• You provide expert advice and recommendations on risk mitigation measures, helping management address key risks and strengthen organizational resilience.
• You build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels, ensuring effective collaboration and strong risk ownership across TenneT.
• You organize workshops, training sessions, presentations, and contribute to risk reporting and external publications, increasing risk awareness, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.

The ARN unit consists of the audit, risk, internal control and compliance & integrity teams. We proactively support the TenneT organization in continuously strengthening audit, risk and compliance identification and mitigation.

Jouw profiel & achtergrond

Experience & Skills

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with HBO+ level and relevant professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, specifically within a corporate risk management environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to assess complex situations and translate insights into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills, allowing you to effectively engage stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and successfully collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, enabling you to build support for risk-related recommendations and initiatives.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.

We offer you:

• A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on a 32-40 hour work week.
• A salary in scale 18, including a fixed allowance of 12% of the total annual salary and a 70% employer contribution to your pension.
