Gwynt is the consulting firm for larger entrepreneurial family businesses in retail, wholesale, food and manufacturing. The combination of hard skills—strategy, processes, content and project management—and soft skills—behavior, management and change management—makes the approach pragmatic and focused on realizing results.

Your role at Gwynt

You have a leading role in impactful transformation projects that you execute with your colleagues at clients in the manufacturing industry. You combine vision and market knowledge with substantive expertise and change power in the chain of manufacturing companies (OEMs and suppliers) to make the difference for customers. You develop new strategies and translate them into business scenarios, business cases and concrete multi-year plans. You lead multidisciplinary projects and have a leading role in project, program and change management.

Transformation projects often start with a quick scan, and it is important at this stage to get to the core quickly. You do this using pragmatic analyses, but also by connecting with clients’ management and employees. Based on these analyses, you develop a customized program.

Then, for several months, you will work on program management or one or more work streams within the transformation project. In this way you will work together with the client and Gwynt specialists on themes such as Strategy, New Product Introductions, Development & Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Servitization or Portfolio Management. You will achieve the agreed results and build strong relationships with the client’s employees.

What does your workday look like?

No two days are the same. One day you work with teams on the shop floor to achieve a culture of operational excellence, the next day you sit at the table with the board of another company to spar about the strategic direction. All to achieve lasting results and a culture of continuous improvement at the client.

You have:

  • Approximately 7–15 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary improvement or transformation projects or programs within the manufacturing industry, from strategy to implementation
  • A complete picture of the core processes within a manufacturing environment and the ability to advise on them
  • A demonstrated understanding of finance
  • A college-level education, preferably in technical business administration, mechanical engineering or another relevant field of study
  • Commercial affinity and a drive to expand your network within the manufacturing industry
  • Possibly experience in consulting, or the ambition to develop consulting skills
  • A drive to see and proactively identify opportunities for further improvements with clients

Your character:

  • You feel at home at board level as well as in the workplace
  • You are a true connector
  • You present complex material clearly in PowerPoint
  • You are professional in your behavior and communication
  • You can handle resistance well
  • You know how to position yourself well

What do we offer you?

You can count on a close team of colleagues who are ready for each other and share knowledge and experiences. There is an open culture with plenty of room for entrepreneurship and self-development. We offer an instructive work environment with excellent career opportunities and a competitive benefits package, including a lease car. If interested, you can grow further within Gwynt to a managerial position.

Employees are also closely involved in the further development and growth of Gwynt. Together you determine your future at Gwynt: whether you want to develop further as a financial expert or choose to expand your consulting skills.
