Are you a passionate SAS expert who thrives on taking ownership of critical platforms? We are looking for a Senior SAS Engineer to become the technical lead and trusted expert for our SAS RCM capability within the Financial Risk Grid.

Your job

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end performance, stability, and strategic evolution of the SAS RCM platform, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and future-ready. Working in an Agile environment, you will combine deep technical expertise in SAS administration, architecture, and cloud hosting (preferably Azure) with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, reducing operational complexity, driving platform improvements, and building strong internal ownership while reducing dependence on external support.

Your profile

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with an IT focus
  • Strong hands-on experience as a SAS Administrator (SAS 9.4 or later), including managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SAS environments
  • Deep expertise in SAS, with solid knowledge of SAS architecture and cloud hosting, preferably on Azure
  • Proven ability to manage licenses, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
  • Familiar with agile way of working (scrum) and CI/CD best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Good knowledge of SAS RCM is a big plus

Your role

  • Act as the technical owner and expert for the SAS RCM application
  • Take end-to-end accountability for the performance, stability, and delivery
  • Define and drive the roadmap and long-term strategy
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions, reduce complexity, and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead collaboration with stakeholders and ensure strong internal ownership, minimizing external dependencies
