Under Armour is seeking a Manager, Inventory & Allocations to ensure the best service across all sales channels in EMEA by optimizing inventory allocation and maintaining best-in-class inventory accuracy across core systems.
This role leads and inspires a team of (Sr.) Professionals in daily operations while serving as a Subject Matter Expert and Super User to drive projects and improvements that support business goals and the Long Range Plan strategy. The position also contributes to the strategy and roadmap for Inventory & Allocations to continuously strengthen its capability to serve the business.
Purpose of Role
The purpose of the Manager Inventory & Allocations (I&A) is to ensure the best service to all sales channels in EMEA by optimizing the allocation of inventory and maintaining best-in-class inventory accuracy across core systems.
The Manager leads and inspires a team of (Sr.) Professionals in daily tasks while also serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Super User to help drive projects and improvements needed to support the goals and Long Range Plan (LRP) strategy as defined by Global and Regional Leadership. This person provides input to the strategy and roadmap for I&A to continuously grow its capability to serve the business.
Your Impact
- Manage the team responsible for allocation, inventory control and corrections, transfers, and troubleshooting for sales orders and/or store STOs for EMEA’s Wholesale, Distributors, and DTC channels, including consignments.
- Manage teammate(s) responsible for the allocation of orders that require intervention to optimize service levels, improve stock positions, and support revenue opportunities.
- Manage teammate(s) responsible for daily monitoring of inventory discrepancies between systems, stores, and partner locations, STOs between stores and DH locations, and execution of processes to maintain these areas.
- Develop and drive the roadmap for I&A based on the LRP direction and input from key business stakeholders and the I&A team.
- Maintain engagement with internal and external business partners to understand needs and translate them into business ideas and demands.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and education take place with support of direct reports to cover gaps and explain new functionalities and process understanding.
- Build knowledge around allocation, deliveries, ATP, and inventory movements, serve as Super User for EMEA, and drive knowledge sharing with other functions and regions.
- Act as regional SME and UAT for I&A, representing EMEA on regional and global projects that impact I&A responsibilities.
- Act as point of contact for Global counterparts and build and maintain connections with the NA team to ensure best-practice sharing and harmonization of processes.
- Standardize and maintain SOPs and the knowledge center for I&A in close conjunction with other regions.
- Lead the Inventory & Allocations team by supporting development plans, succession planning, and talent recognition.

- Proven system and process knowledge related to order management and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas of risk and opportunities based on system data, including proposals to mitigate and improve.
- Able to conceptualize complex matters to support concise and clear communication across all layers and functions.
- Proven people management capabilities, with the ability to support, guide, and inspire teammates, including providing constructive feedback to support individual development plans.
- Escalates timely to the Sr. Manager of this team, providing a clear overview of risks, impact, and potential issue resolutions.
- Passionate about data, with affinity for technology and a strong drive to create a data-driven culture within the team.
- Strong in root cause analysis that may go beyond the scope of the team, and pulls in other teammates in a timely manner to ensure quick and correct resolutions.
- Able to work under pressure while making the right decisions regarding priorities.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics Management, and/or an analytical field.
- 5+ years of combined experience with inventory management, orderbook management, and/or order fulfilment, including leading teams in this or related functions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably FMS or S/4 HANA, in the PTP or OTC area.
- Fully familiar with the MS Office suite, with excellent Excel skills.
- Strong in using data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Experience with Blue Yonder is preferred.
