Join the Global Talent & Performance Management team at HEINEKEN as an Employee Engagement Intern and play a hands-on role in understanding how more than 85,000 employees across the world experience their work. You will support HEINEKEN’s global employee engagement and continuous listening initiatives, contributing directly to projects that influence People strategy across the organization.

“During the internship you are encouraged to learn and take initiative in a supportive environment. Every week brings new experiences, interesting projects and opportunities to grow!”

The internship

What you’ll do:

  • Support the execution of HEINEKEN’s company-wide Employee Engagement Survey, where 85,000+ employees worldwide are surveyed on 50+ metrics.
  • Contribute to global communications around engagement, listening and culture initiatives.
  • Support managing a wide range of stakeholders globally and their local listening needs.
  • Strengthen your Excel skills and advanced data analysis capabilities to drive reporting and insights.
  • Analyze insights to identify engagement trends that support strategic decision-making.

Your new team and workplace

The Global Talent & Performance Management team sits within the heart of the Global People (HR) function at HEINEKEN. Based out of the head office in Amsterdam, the team conducts global initiatives that touch the entire organization worldwide, as well as drive People and company strategies. Alongside employee engagement, the team also focuses on elements such as employee assessments and talent calibrations. You will get a front-row seat to how a Global People strategy is defined and executed, with a specific focus on employee engagement. This includes topics such as strategic alignment, performance enablement, work-life balance, and how these relate to other core business metrics.

During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization across departments. You will be trusted and empowered to work with an entrepreneurial mindset, bring fresh ideas, and receive guidance that suits you.

The unique you!

HEINEKEN is looking for someone with energy, drive and the ambition to grow. In addition, you bring:

  • A curious and proactive nature with an analytical mindset.
  • An affinity for working with both people and data.
  • Experience with Excel, or an eagerness to develop it.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Even if you feel you don’t meet all the criteria, an internship is presented as a strong opportunity to learn and grow.
