You & your role

As Senior Product Manager, you know the secrets of translating regulatory requirements, business strategy and operational needs into sustainable model and tooling solutions. Shape the future of Wholesale and Rural Customer Due Diligence capabilities by improving effectiveness, explainability and efficiency, while ensuring solutions remain compliant and fit for purpose. You challenge existing practices, influence decision-making across domains and help define the strategic direction of Models & Solutions.

Examples from practice

  • Collaborating with Customer Due Diligence experts, change teams, technology partners, regional representatives and senior management to drive change initiatives.
  • Translating complex regulatory requirements into practical model and tooling solutions that support business objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to apply advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and automation to improve Customer Due Diligence processes.

  • Influence and align a wide range of stakeholders on Customer Due Diligence model and tooling initiatives, balancing regulatory compliance, business value and operational efficiency.
  • Independently design and perform qualitative model monitoring activities, assessing results critically and recommending improvements that keep models effective and compliant.
  • Initiate, lead and deliver high-value projects and continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen Customer Due Diligence capabilities and future readiness.

You act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and contribute to the strategic direction of Customer Due Diligence Models & Solutions in a highly complex environment.

The 7 people of Models & Solutions are responsible for the full lifecycle management of Wholesale and Rural Customer Due Diligence models, tools and solutions, including development, implementation oversight, monitoring, governance and documentation. Together, we work as one solution-oriented team within Rabobank. You collaborate across domains to continuously improve Customer Due Diligence and the supporting model landscape.

You & your talent

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Financial Economic Crime, specialised in Customer Due Diligence, preferably within Wholesale Banking.
  • Demonstrated experience in model development or model risk management.
  • Strong ability to translate regulatory expectations, risk appetite and business priorities into practical solutions.
  • Proven capability to be critical and make complex risk-based decisions and recommendations independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to guide and support colleagues; Dutch is an advantage.
