AI Workflow Automation Intern

Cleeng is seeking an AI Workflow Automation Intern to join its SaaS company and accelerate business automation initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities and implement scalable AI-powered workflows using n8n and related technologies.

Your mission

You will help accelerate business automation initiatives by identifying high-impact opportunities and implementing scalable AI-powered workflows.

Your responsibilities

Automation Development & Implementation

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready n8n / Make.com workflows integrating APIs, databases, and LLM capabilities
• Implement n8n/Make.com automations for complex business processes and data transformations
• Develop error handling, monitoring, and audit systems for workflow observability

Business Process Optimization

• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and People teams to discover automation opportunities with measurable success metrics
• Prioritize automation projects based on impact, effort, and strategic value
• Document workflows clearly and provide training to stakeholders

Requirements

Essentials

• Hands-on experience with n8n or Make.com platforms
• Proficiency in JavaScript for workflow functions and expressions
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and basic authentication (API keys, OAuth2)
• Experience working with modern LLMs and prompt engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and autonomous work style
• Excellent spoken and written English

Nice-to-Have

• SQL skills for data validation and reporting
• Exposure to business systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Customer.io, Google Workspace)
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, or deployment practices
• Experience building HR, Support, or RevOps automations
• Understanding of RAG concepts or workflow orchestration tools
• Active participation in n8n or automation communities
• Previous experience in SaaS company environments
