Then join us as our new Nutricia Medical Devices Operations Intern.

In this internship, you will be part of the Nutricia Medical Devices Operations team, within our Specialized Nutrition business. Our purpose is to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality operations that support the delivery of medical nutrition solutions. During this internship, you will collaborate with cross-functional operations, supply planning, and project teams and support project management, planning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to drive efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Your main responsibilities include:

Project Management

  • Assist in tracking project timelines, updating dashboards, and maintaining documentation.
  • Support coordination of cross-functional activities and follow-up on action items.

Planning / Supply Chain

  • Contribute and support on the planning & activity management and deployment routines.
  • Participate actively in the monthly S&OP process to ensure accurate data consolidation and alignment.
  • Support communication with the different stakeholders involved in planning and activity management.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Tracking

  • Support the team with the implementation of lean practices and process optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute to performance tracking by monitoring project KPIs and supplier performance metrics.
  • Help design and maintain KPI dashboards to provide visibility on operational and planning performance.

About You

As a Medical Devices Operation Intern, analyzing data and supporting operational projects will be second nature to you. You can work confidently with Excel (PowerBI is a plus), manage assignments with accuracy, engage with a variety of stakeholders, and have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. On top of that, you're a proactive and communicative individual who's always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Master's student in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics or any related field, for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in September for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Zoetermeer office at least 2 days per week.
