RPA Consultant - Experienced

What will you do?

As an RPA consultant you will combine the role of an IT consultant with that of an RPA developer. You will use your technical expertise, platform knowledge and development experience to implement and manage high-quality RPA solutions in a multidisciplinary project or DevOps team, mainly working with UiPath and Power Automate. As an RPA Developer, you will specialize in the technology and applications of these platforms, and support presales and delivery processes. At Valcon you will work in a multidisciplinary team with business consultants, professional developers and technical specialists. We like to go the extra mile for high quality, resulting in solutions that make the difference, satisfy clients and create happy end-users. For this, we are looking for top-performing people with a passion for IT and technology, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Depending on your experience, you will have one or more of the following responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and testing innovative RPA solutions in an agile way
• Coordinating with the client and end users on specifications, design and end product
• Leading role in Proof of Concepts and innovative development projects by DevOps teams
• Training and coaching of business consultants and junior developers in the development and application of RPA
• Co-developing the RPA proposition of Valcon.

For senior candidates, additional responsibilities will include the following:

• Leading one or more DevOps teams or major projects
• Contributing as a trusted advisor in building and maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Experience

• A completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in areas such as: Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics.
• 2+ years of working experience as RPA developer.
• Real team-player with excellent communication & analytical skills.
• Nice to have: Certification in and/or hands-on experience with one or more of the listed platforms platforms (e.g. UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Kofax and/or Microsoft Power Automate).
• Experience with one of the following methods is an advantage: Low-Code development, Application, information or integration architecture, .NET, AI, text analytics, Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD and/or visualization environments.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
