Job description

What you will do:

  • Providing leadership and management to kit planning team.
  • Coach, develop and hire new talent within the team.
  • Responsible for the overall team motivation, setting objectives, performance review and development for the organization in their region.
  • Develop and implement the appropriate kit sourcing and build strategy and inventory strategy.
  • Single go to person for related divisions at EU level for kit and consignment inquiries.
  • Budget accountability for European kit Investment and Inventory, including managing of the free stock for kit build in Venlo.
  • Provide direct input, advice, and guidance to the European sales Divisions in relation to the best options for sourcing the Kits and Assets being requested by the divisions.
  • Lead initiatives to shorten time to market for new kit deployment.
  • Lead initiatives together with divisions on a European level balance inventory across the region to optimize service and cost.
  • Lead and initiate discussion and present recommendations for asset and inventory optimization to divisional leadership teams.
  • Working closely with divisions on forecast, kit planning and inventory balancing.
  • Balance EU assets, analyse STC fleet holistically for Europe and own the European STC fleet in Venlo.
  • Take leadership on creating new metrics to drive inventory and cost optimizations, for example STC VS LTC strategy in the countries.
  • Manage slow moving kits and balance local VS central.
  • Owning the process from forecast for new kits, inventory planning (for kits), netting and purchasing.
  • Provide guidance and advisory to the divisions for the most cost-effective decisions on CERs.
  • Focus on making procedural changes and new or more effective ways to accomplish tasks, achieving team goals, or performing team functions, standardized across Europe.
  • Play an active role in the European Operations team as we strive to implement a world class asset and inventory management strategy. Critical to this will be the identification of appropriate benchmarks and the sharing of best practice.
  • Take full ownership or participate in projects to further improve European asset and inventory management capabilities resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimized inventory levels.
  • Build, liaise and maintain relationships and collaborate with colleagues across functions (Operations, Finance, etc.), divisions (Sales, Marketing) and leadership.
  • Provide evidence and reporting of budget spent to the divisions.
  • Provide feedback and detailed ROI reports to decision makers.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to assets and inventory are monitored and achieved.
  • Tracking and analysis of STC and Demo fleet (turns, returns, etc.).

What You Need:

  • University degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • IT knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office with skills in Excel, PowerBi, Oracle).
  • Preferred: Lean (green) belt.
  • Preferred: Project management certification.
  • 8+ years of experience within Supply Chain Planning or Asset Management.
  • At least 2 years people management experience.
  • Experience creating a strategy for an organization in an international environment and translating the strategy into a proactive execution plan.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and change management.
  • Drive SOP alignment and standardization.
  • Influence skills to work with senior leaders and drive agenda and strategy.
  • Relationship building experience across divisions.
  • Can demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills, especially for complex problems.

Desirable:

  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Experience creating reports using data modelling software.
