Their projects span across various industries including High-Tech, Mobility, Energy, Infrastructure, FoodTech, and Defence.

Due to continued growth and an increasing number of challenging projects, they are expanding their engineering team and looking for a driven and versatile Automation Engineer.

Your Role

You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, collaborating with project managers to deliver customer-focused automation solutions for both small and large-scale projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and program PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal) and work with servo systems, vision systems, and robotics.
  • Collaborate on the full automation design cycle — from concept and programming to commissioning.
  • Provide input and technical solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate automation systems.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and final delivery of custom-built machines.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Control Systems.
  • Several years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a technical or international environment.
  • Strong experience with Siemens TIA Portal; knowledge of servo, vision, or robotic systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity or interest in C / C++ / Python / LabVIEW is a plus.
  • Sharp technical and commercial insight with knowledge of machine building.
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented, flexible, and stress-resistant.
  • Accurate, proactive, and capable of working independently.

What’s Offered

  • A dynamic, informal, and open work environment.
  • Varied and technically challenging work across multiple industries.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • Long-term growth possibilities within a leading high-tech organization.
